Area General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin
My passion for hospitality grew from a love of creating meaningful experiences for others. My time at César Ritz Colleges in Switzerland instilled in me a commitment to excellence and innovation, which has guided my career.
As a leader, I believe in building a strong “people first” culture where employees feel valued and supported. Leadership requires having a clear vision, communicating it effectively at all levels, and building trust and respect through fairness and compassion.
In luxury hospitality, staying relevant means driving innovation and setting trends. Our goal is to exceed expectations, offering guests not what they want, but what they don’t yet know they desire.
General Manager at The Twenty Two. London, UK
Attending César Ritz taught me structure, hard work, attention to detail, and the customer journey. After graduating, I started at Fontainebleau Miami, moving from the front desk to VIP services. After an MBA, I worked in hotel investments in NYC looking after luxury hotel assets.
Missing operations, I returned to guest relations when I moved to London. Later, with André Balazs, I opened Chiltern Firehouse followed by The Ned with Soho House.
In 2020, I joined The Twenty, overseeing its opening and becoming General Manager. I now lead 210 staff, managing 31 bedrooms, two restaurants, four bars, and a members’ club with 1,600 members, shaping the guest experience at every level.
President Blue Diamond Resorts
As the President of Blue Diamond Resorts, I am honored to play a role in fostering innovation within hospitality. What resonates deeply with me in this industry is the journey of creating something extraordinary in a new destination.
Each project begins in a new location, connecting with its people, and visualizing what we can build together. It’s a magical process, evolving from the first glimpse of the land to blueprinting, witnessing construction, and finally, the grand opening. Seeing our team, with genuine smiles.
Transforming ideas into tangible results remains the most rewarding aspect of my career.
Chair of A|R Ventures, Managing Partner of A|R Associates, and Executive Director of the Executive DBA Council
My time at César Ritz Colleges instilled in me a strong foundation for leadership and innovation. Further degrees contributed to shaping my commitment to creating value-driven, inclusive cultures where equality and innovation take center stage.
A passion for driving meaningful change and empowering individuals to achieve their best has been the core of my leadership.
For me, success is more than numbers; it’s about inspiring teams, building trust, and making a lasting, beneficial impact.
