After many months of renovation, the iconic Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has reopened and inaugurated a new restaurant, Mee, with a new director at its helm.
César Ritz Colleges graduate, Felipe Ishihama, has been appointed to ensure that Mee, will become as iconic as the hotel itself. He brings a wealth of experience with him gained in many luxury hotels around the world. Felipe is excited by the new challenge and says that, "Copa gave me free rein to create. They support my little madnesses!" Madnesses that include hiring a perfumist to create a specific scent for the new restaurant, which as he explains, "has a touch of ginger and lily. Very elegant and mysterious."
