Your student experience extends far beyond the classroom. Hone your leadership abilities, explore your interests, learn new skills–our extracurricular activities are a great way to grow as a person and develop strong friendships.
Chill out with your fellow classmates in our recreational rooms, join an extracurricular club, attend a masterclass, attend a fun themed banquet or plan a party at the Underground in Le Bouveret and Chaos in Brig.
Join forces with your peers to find new and creative ways of enhancing student life. Some of this club's innovative contributions include: increasing the spaces available for group work, more sustainable printing options, and an e-scooter project.
The students with the best academic results can join the Eta Sigma Delta Society, an international honor society in the field of hospitality, tourism, and culinary arts. From exclusive sessions with guest speakers, to field trips where they practice team-building, and develop their leadership skills, members are encouraged to continually strive for excellence.
Join forces with likeminded students to promote sustainable practices on campus.
Hone your knowledge and enjoy tasting wines, various beverages and different spirits from all over the world.
Strike the right chord along other music enthusiasts on campus.
Twice a year, students from our three sister schools come together for some friendly, athletic competition. Football, volleyball, basketball–may the best team win!
Student Ambassador Committee
Each term, students elect a committee of peers who represent them to improve the student experience on campus. Fostering a spirit of democratic cooperation among the student body, the committee works together as a mini-company, with each member serving in a different capacity.
Their involvement on campus includes organizing events and parties, promoting student activities on social media, putting together the yearbook, expressing academic concerns to faculty, and supervising school clubs.
Every term, we offer free excursions to some of Switzerland’s top cities and destinations so you can enjoy all the country has to offer. Whether you’re visiting the capital of Bern, or another sought-after site such as Lucerne, Zurich, or Interlaken, you’ll have many opportunities to explore, shop, dine, and discover Switzerland’s unique culture.
Switzerland also provides year-round opportunities for outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking, swimming, river rafting, sailing, water-skiing, golfing, horseback riding, and paragliding. With nearly 200 winter sports resorts across the country, there are plenty of activities, including skiing, sledding, skating, hockey, and ice climbing to keep you busy in the winter months.
Switzerland also offers an extensive range of cultural experiences. Enjoy world-renowned exhibitions, trade fairs, film festivals, museums, and musical events throughout the year or stroll through the many traditional Christmas, antiques’, and farmers’ markets.
A student counsellor is available on each campus to assist you when you are sick, help you book medical or dental appointments, and handle any medical emergencies.
Being a student is a unique time in your life with unique opportunities and pressures. Navigating course work while figuring out what you want to do with your life can feel overwhelming. Our school counsellor is here to provide a listening ear and tools to help you get a better understanding of your personality and purpose.
We offer regular workshops where you can gain strategies to better manage your stress and anxiety: mindfulness, meditation, yoga, stress management, time management, cultural immersion, conflict management. Take advantage of our Meyers-Briggs assessments and competency evaluations to identify your personality traits and develop your own unique brand of leadership.
